Chia-Fu (Joey) Liu

Chiafu is currently a PhD student in Zachry Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at Texas A&M University, advised by Prof. Ali Mostafavi. He joined the Urban Resilience.AI Lab in Fall 2021 and works as a graduate research assistant. Previously, Chiafu completed his M.S. in Industrial Engineering at National Taiwan University (NTU), and B.S. in Industrial Management at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST).
Broadly, Chiafu is interested in mathematically modeling of real-world problems and data analytics. Notably, his research focus on exploring urban mobility network and building resilience for disaster risk management.
In his downtime, Chiafu enjoys going to the church’s meeting, jogging and cooking.
